Brown Sugar Dijon Roasted Brussels Sprouts

These might be practically candy coated, but they are ridiculously addicting. If you hate the mini cabbages, these brussels might change your mind :)

 

Ingredients

  • 3-4 lbs. of brussels sprouts
  • 1/2 cup Dijon mustard
  • 1 cup brown sugar (or sugar substitute)
  • 1/4 cup neutral tasting oil (like grapeseed or vegetable)
  • 2 tsp liquid smoke
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 3/4 tsp garlic salt
  • 1/2 tsp fresh cracked pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 425°
  2. Combine the Dijon, brown sugar, oil, and seasonings in a large mixing bowl 
  3. Wash the Brussels and dry well
  4. Dump the vegetables into the mixing bowl and toss to combine
  5. Spread on a lined baking sheet and bake for 30-45 minutes
  6. Remove and let cook to solidify the coating for 5-10 mins
  7. Serve and Enjoy!
